When people ask me now, “What’s your favorite thing to shoot” I finally have an answer. I love love stories. I especially love when they take the form of intimate weddings filled with sweet people who welcome each other with open arms. That is exactly what I found at Jennifer & Brad’s wedding at the Corson Building in Seattle.
If you haven’t been, The Corson Building is like someone took a bite out of Italy and planted it in the south of the city. Having been to Italy recently, I can fully stand behind that assessment. The staff is kind, talented and beyond good with the menu. It seats only 30 people indoors and a few more outside. Menus are hand written and everything is freshly prepared. The upper loft is a dark and moody space, with corners of light to create romantic images with the shadows.
I was never devoid of inspiration at this venue. Angles, foliage and pathways guided me through photographing this incredible wedding. I have the honor of returning to this family later this year to document the groom’s sister’s wedding. I cannot wait to see what they plan and how I can capture another beautiful love story, for another amazing couple.
Enjoy these images of Jennifer & Brad’s story…maybe add a glass of wine?
