The Wedding Day
Mariecel and David’s wedding at the Metropolist in Seattle was not only stunning but hosted the best dance party of the 2021 season! I knew from the moment I met Mariecel and David, this wedding was going to be fun. Like, really fun. These two are sassy, spunky, and have a deep love for all their people. After having to deal with reschedules, like so many other couples, Mariecel and David decided to downsize the guest list and level up the party. Staged with gorgeous details, this Metropolist wedding was classic, modern, and timeless. So I guess perfect? That’s what I’m basically saying…it was perfect.
I know you might hear this a lot, but I’m ACTUALLY going to let the photos speak for themselves. Enjoy.
The Venue At The Metropolist
Located in Seattle, Washington, the Metropolist is a modern and classic industrial wedding venue and is perfect for any wedding- big or small. This venue is a 500-square-foot multidimensional space with an open floor plan. Metropolist is housed in the historic Ederer Building on 1st Avenue South and was built in 1919 giving it a historic feel. the Ederer Crane building was used to manufacture large-scale cranes for construction projects around the area and they still have one of the cranes in the building to this day adding an industrial feel.
It comes with a couple different space options that can accommodate a total of 500 guests. The tall ceilings inside of the venue makes the event feel so incredibly grand and spacious feeling. Elegantly urban, yet gritty and ever-changing, Metropolist is your best bet for throwing an unforgettable wedding. It is one that I would highly recommend being that it gives such a unique feel and tone while also being able to accommodate such a large guest list.
